Palettes On My Wish List

Palettes have always space in our makeup dressers and drawers. They’re filled with richly-pigmented and vibrant pans of shadows and blushes. Here are some eyeshadow and face palettes that are in my wish list. I have been wishing for these since their launches. Sigh…

I have a lot of items in my wish list, even though I claimed to my friends that I no longer have a wish list especially on my birthday. Haha! I just think that these items in my wish list are not THAT important although I’d like to think they are essential for my makeup junkie needs. Haha! There are so many new releases in makeup that I’m not sure how beauty bloggers and vloggers can keep up. I haven’t gotten over ogling at one makeup palette when another one comes up. WHAT?! Please slow down. My wallet can’t keep up! Haha! Here are five palettes that are in my wish list and I’d like to have them pronto but like I said, my wallet is huffing and puffing. And oh well, some of these products are limited and are currently out of stock right now. Wonder if they’ll ever be back, huhu.

1. Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette by Too Faced

What Is It: “The Chocolate Bar experience begins as soon as you open the palette and the smell of sweet chocolate envelops you. The eye shadows are pigmented with pure, antioxidant-rich cocoa powder and includes 16 matte and shimmer shades of natural browns, delicate pinks and luscious plums. Includes our signature how-to Glamour Guide with three looks to get you started.”

The Chocolate Bar Palette has launched Too Faced cosmetics into the eyeshadow palette game. It’s one of the best palettes out there. After owning the Urban Decay Naked palettes, this palette came next on my list. It’s known for its richly-pigmented and vibrant shadows. Oh the many looks one can make from this set! it has since been followed by the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette and the Chocolate Bon Bon Palette but the first is still the icon that it will forever be in the beauty world.

Where To Buy: Too Faced ($49) / Sephora, Riyadh branches (SR 270)

2. Modern Renaissance Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills

What Is It: “A present-day take on Renaissance colors, this eye palette features 14 shades that let you create stylish, day to night looks. From the earthy yellow and ultra-matte finish of Golden Ochre to Primavera’s shimmer gold with a metallic finish, this palette’s high-pigment shadows are crease and fade-resistant and are sure to bring modern elegance to your eye looks.”

I’m partial to nude colors in eyeshadows because I don’t really go out a lot to merit dramatic and vibrant eye looks. But this palette from ABH has everything I want! From earthy, neutral colors to berry, orangey tones… what’s not to love? The highly-pigmented, easy-to-blend eyeshadows come in matte and metallic shades. That Warm Taupe, Antique Bronze, and Venetian Red are talking to me. This palette wants to become a part of my collection. So bad. Haha!

Where To Buy: Anastasia Beverly Hills ($42) / Sephora (currently out of stock on both sites)

3. Pro Palette by Lorac

What Is It: “Go PRO with the LORAC PRO Palette! Created by celebrity makeup artist Carol Shaw, this PRO artistry palette is packed with 8 shimmer and 8 matte eye shadows in all the shades you need to create the hottest looks straight from the Red Carpet. LORAC’s velvety-smooth shadows are infused with soothing botanicals and are ultra-pigmented to perform wet or dry so you can shade, shadow, line and define your eyes, just like a PRO. PRO Palette contains 16 Eye Shadows and a Mini Behind The Scenes Eye Primer for stay-true color that lasts, a PRO must-have!”

The Lorac Pro Palette is one of the most versatile palettes in the market today. It has a great balance of matte and shimmer shadows that can be used for casual to glam looks. I haven’t tried any Lorac products but the way Youtubers are gushing over this palette, I’m pretty sure it’s worth the money. That’s why it’s been in my wish list for so long. It has also spawned the Loral Pro Palette 2 and 3 because it’s so popular.

Where To Buy: Lorac ($44) / Amazon ($44) / Ulta Beauty ($44)

4. Tartelette Amazonian Clay Palette by Tarte

What Is It: “By popular demand, tarte is introducing an all-matte shadow palette featuring 12 never-before-seen shades to inspire, celebrate, and empower real women. As beautifully diverse as the brand’s loyal fans, this sleek, statement palette features tarte’s signature Amazonian clay-infused, long-wear eye shadows in a mix of liner, lid, and crease shadow shades. The palette also includes a step-by-step guide for creating smoldering, versatile looks that take you from daytime to playtime.”

This all-matte palette looks luscious and elegant! I love the packaging and colors! Yes, again with the neutrals, haha! But the more neutral, the better. It goes with any skin tone and with any tone of the event too! I like that the palette has a step-by-step guide because for the life of me, I cannot do a decent eyeshadow look without a guide. I always end up with an ordinary-looking eye makeup when I just do it on a whim. Haha! Thank you Tarte for coming up with this. Now, to have this though…

Where To Buy: Sephora ($45) / Tarte (SR 203 – They now offer international shipping, yey!)

5. Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette by Becca

What Is It: A collaboration with Jaclyn Hill, the creator of the original Champagne Pop, this limited-edition face palette features five iconic shades to give you all the customized glow you want. Mix and match two Shimmering Skin Perfector highlighters, two shades of Mineral Blush and a pop of color with Luminous Blush to create endless layers of light and color.”

This is a face palette, unlike the first four which are eyeshadow palettes. Oh well. Jaclyn Hill’s Champagne Pop is probably the most popular highlighter ever. Like other beauty junkies, I love it! And so this palette has always been in my wish list since it launched. It has everything I want! It has the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop and Prosecco Pop, the Mineral Blush in Amaretto and Pamplemousse and the Luminous Blush in Rose Spritz. The colors are to-die-for!

Where To Buy: Amazon (ridiculous prices at $99 up)

These are just some of the palettes in my wish list because yes, I have more. These are on the top though. Let me know what palettes are in your list!

Some of the websites stated above do not have international shipping but you can always resort to third party delivery service like Shop N Ship by Aramex which is my go-to shipping service. They gave me a US shipping address when I signed up and it’s where I address my orders. This is how SnS works. However, there are other services like this. Just find the one that will work for you.

Happy shopping! Or happy listing down the products you want! Like what I’m currently doing. Haha!
